One of Russia's top teams, the Saint-Petersburg Islanders have announced a couple of new additions to their roster.

The Islanders have announced that their fifth member will be Alexander "Zloba" Zlobich, who was formerly a member of another top Russian team, forZe. The addition of Zlobich comes after former Islanders member Viktor "Sally" Filimonchenko left the organization to play for another team, Rush3D.
Along with the addition of Zlobich, The Islanders have also added lesser known, but up and coming Russian player Tomilov "v0rtex" Nikola as their 6th man. Nikola's most notable past team is x4team.
Alexey "Xeinz" Bashmakov stated that Zlobich was an obvious choice to fill the gap left by Filimonchenko.
"We added zloba because he's a very skilled player, and we got only 4 active players in the lineup. This time we also picked up v0rtex to have a 6th player."
According to Bashmakov, the team's first even with this new lineup will be the qualifications for Giga Games 2006 and Perm Period 2006.
